Use the record type to choose the Fairfield County or state office:
- Court case files: see criminal court case records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case
- Criminal histories: order through SLED CATCH or contact the SLED Public Dissemination Unit at 803-896-1443
- Arrest and sheriff reports: contact Fairfield County Sheriff Administration, 250 N. Walnut St., Winnsboro, SC 29180, 803-635-4141, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Current or recent jail custody: call Herman W. Young Detention Center Booking at 803-815-4093 or Central Control at 803-635-4841
- Police reports and incident records: contact the agency that wrote the report
- Expungement: begin with the Sixth Circuit Solicitor for an eligible Fairfield County matter
For General Sessions files and certified copies, contact the Fairfield County Clerk of Court at 101 S. Congress St., PO Drawer 299, Winnsboro, SC 29180-0299, 803-712-6526, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fairfield Magistrate Court is at 115-B S. Congress St., Winnsboro, 803-635-4525. Its weekday hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with closure from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
